What the app collects
Your location, to work out when you cross the zone boundary. This is read on the device, including while the app is in the background so a crossing is caught when you are driving rather than looking at your phone. Your motion activity, to tell driving from walking, so that walking through the zone is not recorded as a chargeable visit.
Where it goes
Your visits and the vehicles you add are stored on your device and mirrored to your own private iCloud database, which is how they follow you to your other devices. We cannot read that database. There is no account to create, no advertising identifier, and no third-party analytics in the app.
What we do not do
We do not sell anything about you, we do not share your location with anyone, and we do not have a copy of where you have driven.
Deleting it
Deleting the app removes what is on the device. To remove the iCloud copy as well, turn off iCloud for Oxford ZEZ in Settings, or delete the app's data from iCloud storage. Ask us at [email protected] if you would like help.
