What this app is for
Oxford ZEZ is provided for information and entertainment. It is a convenience, not a compliance tool, and nothing in it is advice. Do not rely on it to keep you out of trouble with anybody.
We are not the council
We are not Oxfordshire County Council, we are not connected to their systems, and we cannot see what you have paid or what you owe. Any amount this app shows you is our reading of published rules and is indicative only. The council's own figures are the ones that count.
Paying is entirely your responsibility
You are solely responsible for making sure you are not fined and not overcharged by any authority. That responsibility is yours alone and stays yours whatever this app does, shows, records, fails to show or fails to record.
Where the app opens a link, or opens a payment page inside a web view, it is handing you over to somebody else's website. What happens there is between you and them. We accept no responsibility whatsoever for any payment you start or complete on a page opened from this app, for any link the app opens, or for anything you are charged, refused, fined or told by the operator of that page. Check the amount, check the vehicle, check the date, and keep your own receipt.
We are not liable for any penalty charge notice, fine, surcharge, late fee or overpayment, however it arose, including where the app said nothing, said the wrong thing, or said the right thing too late.
Subscriptions
Some features may be offered on a paid monthly subscription. A subscription renews each month until you cancel it, and you cancel it in your Apple ID or Google account settings rather than with us - cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves the current month running to its end.
Payments already taken are non-refundable, including part-used months, months you did not use at all, and months paid after a price change you did not notice. Statutory rights that cannot be excluded are unaffected, and the store you bought through has its own refund process, which is between you and them.

See the privacy page. In short: it stays on your devices.
Changes
Charges, boundaries and hours are set by the authorities and change. We update the app to follow them and there may be a gap. These terms may change too; the version on this page is the one that applies.
